Uniquely, this lodge caters to the true angler, no livebaiting or boring trolling. This lodge is 100% popping, jigging and lure fishing. This is probably one of the best places in the world to practice Slow Pitch Jigging ( SPJ ) and this method always brings surprises to the boat.
With World Record sized fish a regular occurrence here and a huge variety of species and methods this lodge is the ideal place to start your tropical fishing adventures.
It is not unusual to exceed 30 species of fish on these trips including the enigmatic Roosterfish, Yellowfin Tuna, tackle testing Cubera, record breaking Amberjack, huge Groupers, Mahi-Mahi and many many more.

The Lodge
The lodge was purpose-built to accommodate anglers who wish to have a peaceful, social fishing trip.
Panafishing lodge is located outside of the town of Pedasì, 4 1/2 hours from Panama City. Our goal is that our guests enjoy absolute tranquility and harmony with the surrounding nature. You will appreciate its sport fishing atmosphere and its friendly, relaxed vibe.
It is designed with a rustic and country style, without leaving aside the conveniences of A/C, hot water and wifi internet. The place is also famous for its simple yet delicious cuisine.
Tackle hire can be arranged and is of a very high standard, additionally the lodge holds a small stock of lures and essentials.
It really is a special place and one that we hold close to our heart, there is a reason that so many clients return year after year.
Sample Itinerary
DAY 1 ARRIVAL:
When you arrive at the Tocumen International Airport in Panama City (via regional local airport and Amsterdam), after immigration, baggage claim and customs you will meet your driver who will transport you to your hotel near the airport. Night in Panama city (B&B)
DAY 2 DEPARTURE TO THE LODGE:
AT 9.00am, the driver will come to pick you up at your hotel after breakfast. It is approximately 4 and 1/2 hours drive to the fishing lodge in Pedasi. We usually stop around halfway for lunch ( at own cost ). Arrive at the lodge mid afternoon, a quick welcome drink and once you have settled in your room and sampled the pool, you will have plenty of time to organize your fishing tackle and stock up on any last minute purchases.
DAY 3, 4, 5 FISHING:
Every morning, breakfast is served at 06:45, meanwhile a cooler for each boat is prepared by the kitchen staff with a packed lunch and your choice of drinks. As soon as you finish your breakfast, we will drive you to the beach, where the captains and the boats will be waiting for you.
Lunch is taken on the boat around midday (depending on the fishing action of course!). A fishing day usually finishes around 16:45.
We will drive you back to the lodge, where you can relax, soak in the pool and have a drink ( or 2 ) and discuss the days events. Dinner is freshly prepared and served at around 19:30.
Day 6 Rest Day:
Rest day, optional extra days fishing. This day can be spent either exploring the local town of Pedasi, just relaxing around the pool or sampling the beach bars and watching the world go by. If you wish to have an extra days boat fishing from the lodge this can be arranged and paid for locally at the lodge.
DAY 7, 8, 9 FISHING:
Every morning, breakfast is served at 06:45, meanwhile a cooler for each boat is prepared by the kitchen staff with a packed lunch and your choice of drinks. As soon as you finish your breakfast, we will drive you to the beach, where the captains and the boats will be waiting for you.
Lunch is taken on the boat around midday (depending on the fishing action of course!). A fishing day usually finishes around 16:45.
We will drive you back to the lodge, where you can relax, soak in the pool and have a drink ( or 2 ) and discuss the days events. Dinner is freshly prepared and served at around 19:30.
Day 10, Departure:
Spend the morning packing away your tackle and settling your bar bill and any tackle costs before transferring back to the airport, again stopping for lunch en route to break up the journey.
Evening / overnight flight to Amsterdam / Final UK Destination.

This includes Bed & Breakfast accommodation at the Panama City hotel ( twin room ), Full Board accommodation at the lodge ( max 3 to a room ), all transfers and international flights, 6 days fishing, ( max 3 to a boat ).
