“I would like to thank you for once again giving us another week to remember.
A bit of a struggle on numbers for me , but so happy with the average size .
I always wished for a fresh water fish heavier than me , and at approx 23stone, it’s beat me by over 5 stone (70lbs) .
Hope I can return one year with Vicky and catch some more fish and wildlife

“Most amazing trip ever, thank you so much. Not sure regarding numbers of fish caught compared to other trips, but we loved it from start to finish. Gutted to come home. The organisation from leaving home and coming home 10 days later was faultless so I thank you for you time and help in making the trip so easy. Catch report listed below”

“My dream was to catch a freshwater fish as heavy as me, and at 18 stone, that was a fairly ambitious aim. However, SFC Travel organised my trip to fish the Fraser with BCSFG where the friendly and knowledgeable guides helped me achieve my goal with 19 sturgeon in 5 days, with the biggest being nearly 7 1/2 feet ( 2.26m ) long.
A great experience from start to finish
Can’t wait till next time”

” I recently booked a fishing trip to Panafishing in Panama with Spoilt for Choice holidays. This was my first trip with this company, but not my first overseas fishing trip, these I’ve booked through other companies. From the word go, Jason and Christine kept me fully informed of the itinerary and suggested what I should take with me, be it tackle, clothing and even a suggestion on how much currency I might need. The tickets arrived a few weeks ahead of the trip, which was handy, living where I do and needing to start my travels a few days before the flights. The trip, which was hosted by Jason, was exactly what I was looking for, a group of like minded anglers looking to go jigging, popping and stickbait fishing for a variety of hard fighting species.
The trip itself saw a bit of a swell early on, which made the fishing a bit tougher, but we still found fish every day and to all the methods. As the trip progressed, the swell dropped and that opened up some of the inshore surface fishing that this area is famous for. I saw all the species i wanted to target and even hooked and landed all of them with exception of a Cubera and a Roosterfish, but I did have numerous follows from both species, I just didn’t manage to hook up…I don’t think I’ll ever forget the sight of the three huge roosters chasing sardines right under the bow of the boat or the big Cubera Snapper that a mullet snapper snatched my stickbait from in front of, but hey, that’s fishing!
The lodge was perfect for travelling anglers, the rooms were clean, spacious and nicely cooled with the air conditioning, food was stunning and more than enough for a greedy Scotsman like myself, who’s keen to get his money worth! Pierre, the lodge operator was very approachable and forthcoming with advice and lure suggestions, a few of which he sold at a very good price. The rods and reels were of good quality and it wasn’t unusual to see Pierre respooling a reel that had lost a bit of line or had had a bit of rub on a reef, something a few other lodges I’ve fished with should learn to do!
The boats were spacious and well kitted out, there were three anglers on my boat and it never felt overcrowded, our skipper, Eduardo, was as good as you would want, he obviously knew the area very well and worked hard to get you onto the fish. He also wasn’t shy in telling us where we were going wrong and show us how to do it, just what a total novice to this type of fishing that I am, needed.
All in all, there is nothing I can fault with either Spoilt for Choice holidays or Panafishing, and with that, I’m off to book my next trip with them.”

Returning from an escorted trip to Panama
“Hello Spoilt for Choice Travel
Returning from an escorted trip to Panama
“I wanted to say thank you for organising my last holiday to Southern Africa. I thoroughly enjoyed my Drifters tour to Botswana – the tour and company were excellent. Botswana is an amazing country – saw lots of wildlife – leopard, lions (in camp – watched the pride from the top of the truck – sniff the tents and chairs, and cubs playing and chasing each other) , wild dogs hunting successfully, elephant etc. 96 different bird species”

“It’s been a few months since the wedding and honeymoon and now things have calmed down quite a bit, we just wanted to get in touch to say a huge thank you for advising us on Galley Bay for our honeymoon and for all your help. We had the most incredible time, it was so perfect and just what we wanted! The views were stunning, the people were exceptionally friendly and the food was out of this world! There is absolutely nothing we would have changed or anything else we wanted from the holiday.”
Jimmie and Amy, returning from honeymoon at Galley Bay
“A place to escape the wilds of civilisation and catch a lot of great fish. If you want a fishing trip that will really get you away from it all, Acunda is hard to beat”
Mark Bliss, on return from fishing Acunda Lodge, Guinea Bissau
“A site I was recently recommended when on my travels. These guys put me in touch with some awesome fishing tour operators in various places and I highly recommend checking em out for those off the beaten track angling experiences.”

“We were very well served by Christine at Spoilt For Choice and would never consider looking anywhere else for another trip to Africa.”

“As you told us we would, we loved every moment and were sad to say goodbye and return home. While it is always good to get home after a while, we wished we had had a little longer before doing so.
Met the ‘Big Five’ face to face along with so many other animals – I think I really liked the giraffes, they were so curious and actually looked at us (as did the smaller animals) while the cats were somewhat aloof. They actually watched our every movement (while awake) but did not deign to care. It was absolutely marvellous.
Just wanted to thank you for all the work you did on our behalf – everything went so smoothly and everyone was so friendly and easy. Hoping to maybe go back again some day.
Once again, thanks for everything.
Hope to meet up again some time.
Once again, all the best”
“Great trip, one of my best, I knew the manager ,Debbie from Royal Zambezi ,
which was a good start, nothing too much trouble and a great guide”
Tony Wilkinson, on returning from the Lower Zambezi
Just a couple of lines to say thank for putting together a superb trip. I
cannot think of a way in which it could have been improved; the camp was
amazing as was the service and the guiding and the fishing was everything
one could hope for. Our guide, Luke, reputed to be the best on the river,
and who are we to argue, gave us some memorable fishing and some sociable
days. I think we finished up with over 40 tigers, awaiting final tally from
Tony, largest being 14.5lb. the next one of 14lb., with a number of doubles
and a Vundu of over 50lb.. Quite a week, photos to follow.

“Have just returned from 2 amazing weeks in Thailand at Anantara Spa in Hua Hin organised by SFC Travel. Excellent service and great package, will definitely use again.”
“Christine, you know how much we appreciate and enjoy the holidays you arrange for us but by providing the quality of all the hotels you have arranged for us in India you have truly surpassed yourself. Better than anything I have experienced anywhere (even when the company was paying!). Many thanks and yes we of course rode the eles ”
Roger and Jo, recently toured India
“Just a quick thanks for the recent trip to Guinea Bissau. To catch over twenty species between us and some of those were seriously big was an amazing experience. Personally, the jack that I caught, some 60lbs of power!!! will stay with me forever, and the rest of the party all have their memorable fish too. A paradise island with great food and staff. Once again, many thanks”
Martin Chennell, on return from escorted trip to Guinea Bissau
“Everything was handled well from start to finish with SFC Travel and we had another excellent weeks fishing on Acunda, thoroughly recommended”
Simon Orrow, Guinea Bissau 2013 and 2014
“I just wanted to drop a line and say a big thank you for the fantastic time
and fishing on Lake Nasser, as you know I am a repeat visitor and cannot
recommend the trip highly enough. There may be less fish caught than the
first time I fished there 21 years ago, however there are still more fish
than you can shake your rod at. The team on the lake go out of there way to
ensure you have a fantastic time, I will never forget my first Perch over a
hundred pounds (just noticed it in the gallery) and I will be back over as
soon as the chance arises.”
