Ecuador is a tiny country by South American standards, divided by the equator.  On a single trip to Ecuador,  travellers can easily include  rainforests, cloud forests, lowland mangrove forests, snowcapped peaks,   active volcanoes, beautifully  preserved colonial-era churches, and Inca and Cañari ruins. Other activities include horse riding, mountain biking, trekking, surfing, and white-water rafting. The bird-watching is  also world-class.

Ecuador is home to the Galapagos Islands.   Follow in the footsteps of Charles Darwin and explore these unique islands with the most effective way being  from a boat as will  sail around the archipelago, visiting the different volcanic islands, each one  offering something special.

You will have the opportunity to leisurely observe different land and marine creatures at incredibly close quarters. The islands were never connected to the mainland, so the animals that did make it here were completely isolated. As there are no natural predators on the islands, the animals have no fear, allowing you to walk right up to them and providing visitors with the  most spectacular photographic opportunities.

Look out for the Blue Footed Boobies,  the many species of  prehistoric looking lizards (varying in size/colour), snorkel with angel fish or swim with dolphins to mention but a few lifelong memories.
